Our First Ken Taylor Assembly!

Today we had our first school assembly as students and staff at Kenneth D. Taylor School! Students had the opportunity to be introduced to all the staff and hear from our principal; David Dyck, and our VP; Christina Tuttle! As part of the assembly, some of the staff read the book The Three Questions by Jon J Muth; which was based on an original story by Leo Tolstoy.

The staff at Ken Taylor thought it would be beneficial to have a common theme throughout the school that focuses on our character. The Three Questions implies the importance of the now and is a wonderful message for all ages about what it means to be a good person. As Leo puts it, "There is only one important time, and that time is now. The most important one is always the one you are with. And the most important thing is to do good for the one who is standing at your side."
