LMNO Peas!

Today we read the story LMNO Peas by Keith Baker. The students soon recognized that the peas in the book were engaging in activities that started with a letter of the alphabet; from A-Z!

After we read the story we brainstormed some activities that started with the same letter as the first letter of each of our names. Each student used water colours to paint the first letter of their name. Then they used their best bubblegum and book writing to write down 3 activities that started with the same letter.

Finally, the students added their peas! They used a sharpie marker to draw a face and add legs and arms to portray their peas doing different activities. What were your child's peas doing?
