Pattern Worms!

In continuation of our Patterns unit in Math, the students made pattern worms using pipe cleaners, pony beads and googly eyes! After designing their worm and labeling the pattern in their math books, students could get their materials and make their worm. In addition to reinforcing our math skills, students were able to use their planning, fine motor and creative skills to complete this project.





After lunch we continued to work on our Character books with a discussion on empathy. We watched a great video that helped us to understand this difficult concept. Ask your child if they remember what empathy means. You can check out the video we watched and review it with them here:
